Group Game – Fives
Five is a fun game to do as a warm up group game. One by one each person from the circle tries to guess how many hand the others will put out. If he guesses correctly he is out of the circle. If not, he stays in the circle. Continue doing this until one person is left. He lost the game and has to do a fun thing like singing a song, or tell a joke. Each person tells the others why he choses a certain category and exercise, and then he will lead the exercise.
During the Group Game exercise you can apply variations:
- Next to the original version of adding 5 for each outstretched hand you can also make every outstretched hand 1 point. This is easier. So if the guesser stretches out his hand and he predicts that 3 other person will do the same. He doesnât say 20, but he says 4.
- Instead of singing a song you can also do something else: When there is a little task no one from the group wants to do, you can dedicate that task to the person that didnât get out of the circle.
- To make it very difficult you can let everyone choose to put 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 fingers out. The guesser has now a very small chance of getting the right number. But if he does, itâs an even bigger celebration!
Do you know a good Group Game variation?
